Battle, I think I need a medal,
as I fear this nightmare’s final,
whilst others grow numb to the sound.
The rabble, leave me angry and hollow,
in the face of the fight I'll settle,
faith fading six feet under the ground.
There's nothing that I can do now
I stand on the sidelines as the silence of others grows,
and watch as the violent take a hold.
Place blame on the masses who have faces I’ll never know,
It’s all their fault,
It’s all their fault.
The struggle, to inspire the moral,
those concerned with the world should follow,
to march on the blind and the proud.
I stumble, where composure is vital,
in the face of the past I’m humbled,
by those who take control of the crowd.
